Below is a map of Scottsdale, from 1971 we can see very little development in the area that would become our 82nd street property today. See that road to the left? That is Scottsdale Road, and we are sandwiched here dead center between Indian Bend and Shea. Our property will exist in the future just near the center bottom third of the photograph below, to the right of that small lake.
See that park in the top right? It doesn't exist anymore, but you can
see what it has been developed into by googling paradise park trails.
Our listing today was as barren as barren can be. Look at our location further
below on a more modern map, see the fishhook shaped lake above
"Neighborhood Little Library" to orient yourself.
This area has undergone rapid change in the last fifty years! My personal favorite addition is the "Pomo Pizzeria" you can see top left, yummy. Our property has undergone an equally miraculous transformation, hence the title of today's blog, "Miracle on 82nd Street."
Here is a dramatic before and after showing the creative effort that went into fixing this property. Warning to sensitive audiences, this is a lot to take in.
